Iivari Mononen Oy buys annually 150,000m³ of mainly pine stands marked for cutting as pole billets in Eastern- and Central Finland and Kainuu, and delivers them to the group's production plants to be used as raw material. The remaining timber from the stands marked for cutting is sent to our co-operation partners' production plants. Poles also provide additional value to the wood trade in mixed timber final felling stands. In these sites the offer is made and wood trade completed together with a third wood trade partner who registers the other types of timber in the stand into the contract.
